As we looked to examine the matters set out in the Terms of Reference, we asked to hear from anyone whose advice and ideas could assist with our inquiry.
We sought input through:
- written submissions
- community consultations, held throughout South Australia
- an online 'Share With Us' tool
- the Royal Commission Advisory Group
- the Royal Commission Aboriginal Partnership Committee
- Public Hearings
- data and documentation requests.
The Commission engaged with more than 5,000 people across South Australia. Their bravery, courage and generosity in sharing deeply personal truths have illuminated the path forward, revealing not only what must change but also who must step up to make it happen.
